Scholarships

Explore Northwood University’s many scholarship opportunities.

All undergraduate students are awarded a $9,840 scholarship each year, resulting in a total tuition/year of $24,560.

This merit-based scholarship is $7,000 – $13,000 USD annually with on-campus residency. Northwood uses the student’s cumulative grade point average combined with ACT/SAT scores to determine grant value.

This scholarship is directly applied to the student account after official documentation has been received. For students living off-campus, the scholarship will be reduced by $2500 annually.

Students who participated in DECA while in high school are eligible for scholarships ranging from $1,000 – $5,000 annually. Students must continue to participate in Collegiate DECA and maintain a 2.5 cumulative GPA.

Up to $10,000 USD a year available for international transfer students who meet GPA requirements.

Siblings enrolling at Northwood simultaneously may qualify for $1,500 each, annually. To qualify, you and a sibling must be enrolled full-time and full-year at Northwood.

Shortlisted candidates will participate in an interview before they are accepted into the program. This interview may be conducted in person or over the telephone. Sample topics include:

Northwood University will evaluate all academic credentials submitted to determine U.S. equivalency, as well as an estimated U.S. grade point average on a 4.0 scale. If Northwood University is unable to determine U.S. equivalency or perform an internal GPA evaluation, the student may be requested to obtain a formal evaluation at their own expense via one of our approved evaluators (Scholaro, WES, and ECE). If visa is approved, official documents must be sent prior to arriving to the US. If the original documents are not issued in English, a certified translation of each document must accompany all of your academic documents.
