For First-Time International Students
The International Freshmen Merit Scholarship is a merit-based tuition waiver for new F-1 undergraduate, degree-seeking international students admitted directly into a university bachelor’s degree program.
The award is for $2,500 for the first academic year; $1,250 for the first fall and $1,250 for the first spring semester of enrollment and is applicable to tuition only.
Eligibility
All new F-1 undergraduate, degree-seeking international students applying to Utah Tech University will be considered. Scholarships will be awarded to international students who meet the following criteria:
Scholarship recipients will be required to maintain a minimum 3.3 GPA each semester.

The International Merit Scholarship is a merit-based tuition waiver for current students and transfer F-1 undergraduate, degree-seeking international students enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program at Utah Tech University.
The award is for $5,500 each year; $2,750 for the fall and $2,750 for the spring semester of enrollment and is applicable to tuition only.
Eligibility
All continuing F-1 undergraduate, degree-seeking international students enrolled full-time in an associate or bachelor’s degree program at Utah Tech University St. George main campus and complete the application will be considered. Scholarships will be awarded to international students who meet the following criteria:
Once on scholarship, students must pass 12 credits or more per semester while maintaining a 3.3 overall GPA or higher.

Official GMAT/GRE score report, or approved waiver. GMAT score of 550 or GRE score of 150 required, or approved waiver. We require that the test administrator submit your score directly to Utah Tech University. The appropriate test must be taken within five years of the semester in which you wish to enroll.
Note: Current UT Accounting students with a 3.5+ GPA do not need to submit a GMAT or GRE test score. Transfer accounting students with a 3.5+ GPA (from an AACSB institution) do not need to submit a GMAT or GRE test score.
